The mission of FCA is to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church, and a major goal is to minister to and through coaches. Area Representatives strive to prayerfully fulfill this mission, in collaboration with volunteers, other staff, volunteer board, and Area Director.
The Area Representative is also responsible for funding and managing the finances of the ministry.
As a spiritual leader, guided by God and devoted to Jesus Christ, the Area Representative must model the FCA values of Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence in their personal and professional relationships.

Our College Internship program is 8 weeks long, from roughly June 1 - August 1. It is focused on growing in Christ-like leadership while serving in many different capacities such as shadowing our local staff, serving different leadership roles at camps, and fulfilling administrative work in the Greater Fairfax South FCA Office. The only requirement to be considered to be part of the College Internship Program is that you must have completed at least one year of college. If you cannot do the 8-week long Internship Program, but still want to get involved, there are plenty opportunities with a number of camps.
